ORWO Wolfen NP100 35mm Film

ORWO is a 116-year-old company and brand. Founded in Wolfen, in 1909; as an off-shoot of the AGFA film company. Fast forward to today, ORWO is excited to release the first professionally finished photographic films launched by the company in 50 years, alongside new and improved classic motion picture emulsions. NP100 is an exceptionally fine grain 100 ISO black and white film. It is one of the first brand-new and professionally finished photo films launched by ORWO in decades. It is still produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen on the original site where film manufacture has been a tradition since 1910. NP100 has an additional dyed antihalation layer, which is positioned between the base material and the emulsion layer and has the task of preventing the formation of a reflection halo. This improves image sharpness.
